Not even endurance exercise can get boring in our "cardio theater." WestinWORKOUT gyms offer the best in TV viewing. Many hotels feature 27-inch flat-screen televisions. Major city, airport and resort hotels also have individual viewing screens on each piece of cardio equipment. Not to be outdone, the sound quality of our gyms is exlemplary. DMX and DMX Profusion X systems provide digital music content that reflects the style of Westin and the eclectic tastes of its guests. High-quality Bose™ speakers emit a discreet music ambiance that's never obtrusive. All headphones work with the audio system. Guests may use their own headphones or purchase them at the hotel for a nominal charge.
Core Training Zone
At the core of WestinWORKOUT is-naturally-the Core Training Zone, a unique area created to improve strength, flexibility, balance and aerobic conditioning. Special equipment includes core boards, medicine balls, stability balls and resistance bands. Choose from integrated, total body 20/40/60 minute workout programs, designed by fitness experts available exclusively to Westin guests.
